Ishmyel Freedmen is a mother, educator, radio host, content creator & multi-faceted force of creativity & innovation. With 25 years of music experience, Ishmyel has evolved her talents from music to digital art & content creation, to develop 3RD EYE RADIO: The Freedmen’s Radio Station BEATS THERAPY, a self owned & operated grassroots radio station dedicated to the authenticity of Black American music, music history, are history culture & identity. The station's premise is to provide a therapeutic experience while educating listeners on Black American music history, art history, accomplishment & global innovation by sharing music from the 1600’s to today, including independent Black American musicians from all over the country. This fosters the importance of preserving, protecting & respecting the cultural identity & contributions of Black American artists. This collection is a reflection of that sentiment, to accompany the station so those who have enjoyed the station over the years may have access to tangible keepsakes indicative to the platforms premise.
